When the weekend comes how do you like to spend your free time? Do you enjoy playing or watching sports? Is the great outdoors what makes you happy? Or are food and drink your passion? You're in luck, because London and Middlesex County have it all!

If you want to be active, London and Middlesex County have outstanding parks and recreation facilities. London has a network of neighbourhood community centres where you can take arts and crafts classes, play pick-up basketball, join an indoor soccer league or participate in physical fitness classes and special interest activities. Outside, you'll find golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools, soccer pitches and paved walking trails. Spectrum, the City of London's recreation catalogue, lists programs and activities for all ages, from learning T'ai Chi to soccer and neighbourhood day camps for children.

Lots of low-cost or free activities happen at our public libraries. Examples include storytime, book clubs and craft programs. Visit the London Public Library or the Middlesex County Library for details.

If your idea of a fun night out includes music and entertainment, check out London Arts for a list of what's happening in the city and region. You can also visit London Source.com for restaurant listings by type of food.
