Fanshawe College

One of Canada's top colleges, London's Fanshawe College consistently ranks above the provincial average in student satisfaction, graduate satisfaction, employment after graduation and employer satisfaction. You can join 13,000 full-time students who study at the main campus in London. Or you can choose to study at Fanshawe's satellite centre in Middlesex County. Every year, Fanshawe welcomes more than 200 international students from over 34 countries.

Fanshawe offers thousands of courses that emphasize applied learning. Students can choose both full and part-time studies in 119 different programs varying from Nursing, Journalism, Graphic Design and Accounting to Chef Training, Dental Hygiene and Early Childhood Education.

Post-secondary certificates, diplomas, post-graduate and applied degree programs can lead to employment in a variety of well-paying fields like health care, electronics, business administration, information technology, manufacturing and civil engineering.

Several of Fanshawe's programs formally integrate academic study and practical knowledge to help you gain valuable Canadian work experience. Apprenticeships are designed for people who want a rewarding career in the skilled trades like plumber, carpenter and electrician or auto body repair, tool and die maker, early childhood educator and culinary manager.

Fanshawe offers 32 co-operative education programs. You will spend one or more terms working at a job in your field. Students apply theory learned in the classroom, gain valuable experience, refine career goals, and earn some money.

Fanshawe's vibrant campus community is an excellent place to meet people and forge lasting relationships, both personal and professional. The college has a new Student Union Centre, state-of-the-art computer labs, book and computer stores, intercollegiate sports, fitness centre, career services and more. Fanshawe College is accessible by public transit. Bus passes are free to all full-time students at the London campus.
