1. Local resources for newcomers
The London Cross Cultural Learner Centre provides settlement counseling, help finding a job and many other services to newcomers. WIL Employment Connections provides employment counseling and services for immigrant professionals. LUSO Community Services provides settlement services and employment support programs.

2. Ontario resources for newcomers
Most newcomers to Ontario land at Pearson International Airport in Toronto. For immediate assistance find the Immigrant Reception and Information Services (IRIS) booth. Ontario Immigration and Settlement.org are two excellent websites with comprehensive information about Ontario and services for newcomers. If you are not a permanent resident of Ontario, you will have to apply for a work permit
