Getting involved in your neighbourhood or community is a great way to meet people with similar interests and backgrounds.

Community resource centres offer programs for all ages including family and parenting support groups, workshops, club activities, youth day camps and seniors' activities at little or no cost. Many of these centres also offer special assistance and resources to newcomers.
