The Centre has grown over the years especially in the last four years therefore doubling its staff. |

2006, |
Jeremiah’s House, a reception center for government-sponsored refugees, opened its doors on the third at 505 Dundas Street. | |
| In
2007, |
a new partnership was formed with the Municipal, County, and local organizations to develop the Immigration Portal websites thereby providing newcomers and those working with newcomers with local resources and contact information. | |
| In
2008, |
another new partnership saw settlement services being offered in the Public Libraries while at CCLC, a new program, the Client Support Services for high needs refugees, was added. | |
| In
2009, |
under the directions of their new Executive Director, all programs increased their staffing resulting in additional programs, workshops, and outreach thus reaching more clients or offering more variety of services. | |

For 2010, |
the Centre is working on a proposal with the School Boards to increase their range of services by providing settlement workers in the local public and catholic schools. |

Heritage:Eldon House Celebrates 175 yearsThis is London's oldest surviving private dwelling built in 1834 by Captain John Harris and inhabited by his descendants until 1959 when it was given to the City. It is operated by Museum London and provides a year-round program of art exhibitions of contemporary and historical art and a community historical museum with a focus on London and region. Community Development:New Project UnderwayThe London and Middlesex Local Immigration Partnership (LMLIP) The purpose of this project is to strengthen the role of local and
regional communities in serving and integrating immigrants through a
Local Immigration Partnership (LIP). The project will provide a
collaborative framework for, and facilitate the development and
implementation of, sustainable local and regional solutions for
successful integration of immigrants to Ontario. This will enable our
community to put immigration on their overall planning agenda and
benefit from the successful social and economic integration of new
immigrants.
