Engineers of the Renaissance

Upcoming Events:

"Engineer of the Renaissance" by Visual Education Project

Visitors will explore more than 50 custom-built wooden models of Leonardo da Vinci, Augustino Ramelli, Besson and other brilliant engineers designs and inventions, including a helicopter, water raising machines, catapults and elegant bridge structures - many of which can be seen realized in today’s technology.

Visual Education Project (VEP) is a charitable science awareness organization based in London, Ontario. The main objective of VEP is to advance interest of youth in Engineering and Science by presentation of unique hand-made working models and discussion on what basic scientific principles they are built.

Doors Open Event

Doors Open Event is planned for September 19th and 20th, 2009

Most of the cultural history of London is in places not normally open to the public. In the weekend open house, everybody can visit these sites to learn and discover London's meaningful stories and spaces. Last year, 51 sites were open - churches, mansions, museums and environmental sites and over 25,000 people visited them.

This service is made possible by a partnership of the settlement sector, public libraries, and Citizenship and Immigration Canada. LGBT is a social group formed at the London Cross Cultural Learner Centre to provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) newcomers. If you are new to Canada, join us to meet other newcomers in the LGBT community for coffee, conversation, education and social activities, peer support, friendship and fun. Our group meets twice a month.
