As a vibrant, urban center, London has many exciting venues for arts, culture and entertainment. Since 1901, our renowned Grand Theatre has been a cornerstone of cultural development, shaping the careers of many talented stage actors. The state-of-the-art John Labatt Centre is a premier venue for athletic and performance events, including touring Broadway shows. Orchestra London has been sharing live, orchestra music for more than 60 years. London and Middlesex County attract people from around the world to live, work and study here. Many share their language, art, and cultural traditions through events and festivals that happen annually around the region. Sunfest, Canada's premier celebration of global arts, is just one of the many events that celebrates our cultural diversity and energy.
London and Middlesex County also have excellent public libraries that are the hub of art and culture in local neighbourhoods. The Middlesex County Library has 18 branches throughout the county. The London Public Library has 16 locations around the city. Through each library system, thousands of books, magazines, music CDs and DVD movies can be borrowed for free. They also offer many free or low-cost services, social groups and programs for children and adults including story readings, arts and crafts, language and computer literacy, art exhibits and events.

- The Grand Theatre - a London cultural icon, hosts professional theatre year-round.
- Orchestra London -is London's professional symphony orchestra that provides great music from Beethoven to the Beatles.

Museum London
- has over 2,500 pieces in its collection with a special focus on regional and local artists, as well as an extensive collection of historic artifacts.
- The John Labatt Centre
- a 10,500
seat, multi-use entertainment centre that hosts over 125 events a year including family and variety events, concerts and professional sports. It is home to the 2005 Memorial Cup winning London Knights, a member of the Ontario Hockey League.
- Learn about our community's first peoples at the Ska-Nah-Doht Iroquoian Village & Museum. This reconstructed Iroquoian village has 18 outdoor cultural exhibits and showcases many artifacts from its archaeological collection.
